Microcement Key Products
The main principle of our microcement is that every layer in the system is fully waterproof. The sealers act as a sacrificial layer and help prevent staining and dirt retention, they are NOT required to make the cement waterproof. This is achieved by using epoxy resin hybrid technology. Without sealers the cement also has good stain resistance which is further enhanced with the application of sealers.
Primers
Two component, fast drying water-based epoxy resin primer for cementitious screeds and gypsum plaster.
The fast drying nature of FORPRIME-EPWB enables the surface to be primed and base coated in the same day when using the ‘Fast Wall’ specification.
Two component, moisture tolerant epoxy resin primer for
cementitious screeds, timber, tiles and most other surfaces.
FORPRIME-DPM will provide
suitable adhesion to almost all correctly prepared substrates and should be
used where residual moisture may be present.
Base Coats
Two component epoxy resin cement base coat for floors only. Extremely strong and is always blinded with fine quartz before the application of subsequent top coats.
FORPRIME-HB
forms a vital part of our fully comprehensive ‘Belt And Braces’ specification
and works best when trowelled into 160g fibreglass re-enforcing mesh.
MICRO-FLEX
Two component, highly flexible epoxy resin hybrid cement base layer. Fully waterproof tanking membrane which should be utilised whenever there is a risk of movement within the substrate.
MICRO-BASE XT
Two component epoxy resin cement base coat for walls only.
MICRO-BASE XT forms a vital part of our fully comprehensive ‘Mesh Wall’ specifications and works best when trowelled into 160g fibreglass re-enforcing mesh.
MONO-STONE XL
Single component hybrid resin cement base coat for walls only.
MONO-STONE XL forms a vital part of our fully comprehensive ‘Mesh Wall’ specifications and works best when trowelled into 160g fibreglass re-enforcing mesh.
Finish Coats
Two component epoxy resin hybrid cement finish coat. 100% waterproof prior to the application of sealers, rock solid and extremely durable.
Micro-Armours 100% waterproof properties means that it is highly suited for application in bathrooms, steam rooms and wet rooms.

Available in three different finishes, Smooth, Medium and Coarse.
Sealers
Two component water-based Polyurethane seal coat. Semi Matt finish, providing a durable, easy to maintain surface finish.
FORSHIELD-2KWB is extremely user friendly with minimal risk of roller lines in the finished micro-cement surface. Suitable for all environments including bathrooms, worktops, floors and walls.
A range of low emission eco-friendly oils available in matt, satin, or gloss. Food safe oils also available for worktops and exterior oils for outside. FORSHIELD-OIL be used as stand-alone protection straight onto the micro-cement or can be applied on top of polyurethanes as a maintenance coat.
Single component, transparent thixotropic paste with a wide application spectrum. FORSHIELD-FX can be applied un-tinted as surface smoother or pore-filler. Alternatively it can be tinted with a wide range of FORSHIELD-FX pigments (plain colours, metallic, pearlescent and glow in the dark).
